Paul Dean Believing that videos can be an important part of the way students learn, professor Paul Dean helped create a website that compiles interesting videos for use in the sociology classroom. Ching-Hsuan Wu To teach Chinese as effectively as possible, Ohio Wesleyan University assistant professor decided she first needed to speak her students’ language. Christopher Fink Professor requires groups of students to create a wiki page in the style of Wikipedia, instead of a research paper. Larry Griffin Professor puts his iPod to work in the the band room. Read more Success Stories		OWU Mobile The OWU Mobile app is now available from the Apple App Store and Android Market Place. It is a free download for anyone interested in staying connected with OWU Additionally, you may browse to m.owu.edu from a cellphone Web browser to view information in much the same way. Print Green Initiative In the six months that the voluntary “Print Green Initiative” has been promoted on campus, 22 new multifunction devices have replaced an estimated 50 individual devices in various departments and offices. OWU 2.0 OWU 2.0 is the project name for the implementation of the University’s new administrative software systems, which include best-in-class systems for various departments. Atomic Learning In a great leap towards staying up-to-date with the latest technologies, Information Services has partnered with Atomic Learning to provide professional development.
